OVERVIEW
THAW & CURE electric concrete curing blankets provide heat when and where contractors need it. The winter elements don't need to stop your next concrete pour or masonry project. Put the heat where you need it. Thaw frozen ground, cure concrete in sub zero temperatures, wrap tanks & silos, freeze protection for pipes and machinery, keep work crews working all winter long. Available in stocked quick ship sizes.
Save Money
Quicker concrete curing times reduce your labor expenses and also expensive repairs needed because of cold curing issues.
Reduce Curing Time
Heated concrete covers free up manpower to work on other projects making concrete work more efficient.
Reuse and Save
This is not a throwaway heated concrete blanket. This is made for heavy-duty use job after job saving rental fees.
1 Year Warranty
Industrial grade components will last many years and we cover any manufacturing defects for one year giving you peace of mind!
Pour Concrete In Cold Temperatures
Concrete pouring in cold weather can be accomplished with the use of our heated Cement Curing Blankets. Insulated & heated electric construction blankets are ideal for precast and flatwork contractors. You can also use a combination of non-heated insulated concrete blankets with these heated insulated cement blankets.
Key Benefits
- Stocked sizes ready to ship
- Use multiple heated concrete blankets for larger areas
- 110v models plug into standard outlets
- Accelerate construction projects all winter long
- Traps heat and moisture during curing to produce a higher grade finished product
- Cure concrete and cement in record time
- Increased PSI levels and decreased defects
- Keep crews working and jobs on schedule (and budget)
- Thaw frozen ground up to 8 feet deep
Cold Weather Concrete Curing
Cold weather concrete can be established as a period of more than three days where some specific conditions occur. The American Concrete Institute under ACI 306 defies that concrete will be exposed to cold weather when the following conditions exist:
- The average daily air temperature is less than 5°C (40°F) and,
- The air temperature is not greater than 10°C (50°F) for more than one-half of any 24 hour period.
Cold Weather Concrete Objectives
When concrete is being managed under cold weather, concrete must be protected from freezing shortly after being poured. Also concrete must be able to develop required strength for the safe removal of forms while reducing the circumstances where excessive must be applied to help concrete develop the required strength. Other important factors that must be considered are the proper curing conditions that prevent cracking and provide the intended serviceability of the structure. Using ALCO heated electric concrete curing blankets you can speed up the process of curing.
